  • Sieneon is rapidly expanding its 4G Technology Design Center (DC) in China with about 60 Ph.Ds and 180 engineers in China, focusing on development and design of multiple layers of 4G mobile wireless communications. With increasing funding and investment from private sectors in addition to government supports, Sieneon's technology covers all emerging segments of ICT industry.
  • Sieneon developed the Innovative "Handheld-Interference Analytical Modeling for Mobile Phone" in its Shanghai design center which greatly improved the radio  transmission performance between the handheld device and the radio base station. This is a very important movement towards the future 4G technology.
  • Sieneon is investing over $5M with partners in developing the 4G LTE/WIMAX/WIFI all-in-one chipset (Sieneon TN2800) for the upcoming 4G mobile markets supporting LTE release 8 and IEEE 802.16e/m as well as IEEE 802.11b/g/n standards. This chipset can be widely used in mobile communications, sensor networks and Internet-of-Thing (IOT) networks.
  • Sieneon released the first 5-in-1 core development card converging broadcast, Telephone, Internet, 3G and WiFi, as well as Sensor Mesh Network into one common card powered by the invented OWA technology platform. It has been developed by USCWC in Palo Alto/Stanford of USA, together with our R&D centers in Shanghai and Jiangsu of China.

  • Sieneon expands its global leadership in Mobile Cloud solutions by investing heavily in Research and Development of the field. Currently, Sieneon has R&D centers in San Francisco area, Munich, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Beijing and Wuxi.
  • Sieneon's Mobile Cloud modem can innovatively converge wireline broadband networks, wireless LANs and mobile cellular networks into one common platform defined by the OWA protocols. With this MC modem, mobile users can have high-speed datarate transmissions (up to 20Mbps) while maintaining the seamless mobility freedom (both in fast fading and slow fading cellular environments).
  • Sieneon has secured another important U.S. patent on OWA (open wireless architecture) system framework which is a milestone innovation in delivering the future open mobile wireless platform from the physical layer to the application layer. Many leading mobile vendors are directly or indirectly using this patent to develop the next generation mobile device and/or mobile infrastructure.
  • Sieneon expanded its R&D forces and facilities in Hangzhou and Shanghai to meet the rapidly increasing demand in 4G open mobile technology in the China market.   • Sieneon unveils the world's first OWA-powered Mobile Cloud router converging multiple wireless air-interfaces including GSM/GPRS, TD-SCDMA, WCDMA, WIFI, UWB, WIMAX and GPS. This innovative MC-Router will be widely used in consumer electronic markets as well as in telecommunication markets.

  • Sieneon's CHINA (Converged Highly Integrated Network Access) MOBILE project is to integrate various wireless and mobile communication systems into one common platform powered by OWA technology to provide an open mobile solution to the customers and service providers.
  • iARM, powered by innovative OWA technology, is designed as the OWA card to turn consumer electronics into the 4th generation mobile phone.
