Mobile Cloud - Converged Fix, Wireless and Mobile Infrastructure Based on different network topology (traditional and future) and coverage (Pico, Micro, Macro and global), Sieneon proposed specific innovative infrastructures with performance optimization. Since 2001, Sieneon has been working on the 4G open mobile infrastructure with open network architecture and open wireless architecture (OWA). In the new architecture, the traditional base station will be converted to the open wireless router with common access platform to the backbone PDM networks. The traditional mobile switch will be softened into the PDM networks by using Sieneon's patented OWA signaling and protocol stacks. Sieneon was the global pioneer in defining the open architecture for the future converged fix, wireless and mobile infrastructure in a more cost-effective way. With the increasing convergence in wireless, mobile and broadband communications, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, user-friendliness and performance optimization become the critical issues of the industry. Sieneon defines this future solution called "Mobile Cloud", based on the patented Open Wireless Architecture (OWA) core platform.
